Standby Mode ,Three modes in which your computer operates

There are three modes in which your computer operates,the SO- the active windows environment,the S1 and the S3 modes-power saving(standby) modes.By default BIOS is set to the S1 mode which retrieves faster than S3 but consumes 50 percent more power comparatively where as the S3 mode consumes least amount of power ,because it saves the settings in the main memory and registers devices internally.S1 mode is the best to use as it's alot quicker.
